About Us

The Energy Research Institute University of Kashan was established in 2009, aiming to be a world-leading research institute for innovative energy solutions. Energy Researcg Institute of University of Kashan (ERIUK) mission is to grow into a center-of-excellence for conducting advanced research, development, and demonstration of innovative energy solutions with global impact. ERIUK is a pan-university research institute that consolidates energy research and promotes multidisciplinary and trans-disciplinary collaboration across the Departments of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer and Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Sciences. The Institute distinguishes itself through excellence in basic research directed towards outcomes of high industry relevance. Thus, ERIUK is motivated to enable knowledge creation and technology transfer with research organizations and industries by creating a collaborative environment for the delivery of energy solutions aligned with national sustainability goals. Research at ERIUK encompasses different programs, namely, combined heat and power (CHP), thermal energy storage, sustainable buildings technologies, solar cells, and wind & renewables.
